Dr. Pettaway is Professor of Urology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. One of his major areas of clinical research focus is in penile cancer where he has published on several themes including 1) Defining prognostic markers for inguinal lymph node metastasis and survival 2) Developing minimally invasive staging procedures that decrease the morbidity of standard lymphadenectomy and 3) Neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgical resection for advanced penile cancer.
