He is the Director of Strategic Planning and Clinical Services of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Associate Dean of the UCSF School of Medicine. Dr. Carroll received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, completed general surgery training and urology residency at UCSF, and completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. In 2008, Dr. Carroll received an MPH from the University of California, Berkeley.
