Professor of Urology, Weill Cornell School of Medicine; Attending Surgeon, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New YorkDr. Paul Russo is a graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and trained in general surgery and urology at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis. He completed a 4 year research and clinical fellowship in urological oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center under Dr. Willet Whitmore and joined the attending staff. Dr. Russo is now Professor of Urology at the Weill Cornell School of Medicine and Attending Surgeon at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His main area of clinical interest in the management of localized and advanced kidney cancer. He is advocate of kidney sparing approaches to the management of clinically localized kidney tumors. Dr. Russo leads a multi disciplinary research team committed to the study of kidney cancer both at the clinical and basic science level.
