Jose “Ricky” McFaline-Figueroa, MD, PhD is a physician at the Center for Neuro-Oncology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. He received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, PR, and his MD and PhD at Columbia University, New York, NY. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and his residency at the Harvard BWH-MGH Neurology Residency Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. He completed his fellowship in the combined Massachusetts General Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Program.

Dr. McFaline-Figueroa’s research focuses on glioblastoma, in particular, the use of combinatorial therapies to enhance response to immunotherapy in this disease. He is a recipient of the Paul Calabresi Career Development Award for Clinical Oncology and a scholar of the Massachusetts General Hospital Training Program in Central Nervous System Tumors.
