In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Henry is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Subspecialty SEP Board of Hematology and a principal investigator for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, Accelerated Community Oncology Research Network, and International Oncology Network research groups. He is also principal investigator for several HIV oncology and cytokine studies with white blood cell and red blood cell growth factors. Dr. Henry’s main interests for publication and research are anemia and neutropenia in oncology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of MDEDGE.com/hematology-oncology and a reviewer for The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Archives of Internal Medicine, and The Oncologist. He is also the author of a weekly podcast titled Blood and Cancer on iTunes.

Dr. Henry is a past winner of the annual Blockley-Osler Award for teaching at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and is the director of the University of Vienna medical student exchange program in Philadelphia. He also has appeared 3 times in Philadelphia magazine’s Top Doctors feature.
