Zohyra Zabala MD

Zohyra Zabala graduated with honors from La Universidad Del Zulia, a top medical school in Venezuela. She then moved to the United States to pursue a postdoctoral fellowship in diabetes at Emory University. Her primary research interests include the use of technology to manage diabetes.

In addition to her outstanding patient care skills, Dr. Zabala has also conducted meaningful research that has shed light on important health disparities. Her unshakeable commitment to improving the quality of life for her patients inspired her to pursue a Master of Public Health degree from the prestigious Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.

Dr. Zabala's future contributions to public health will produce impactful research that has the potential to change the lives of millions.
