He received training in occupational health and psychiatry before accepting a postdoctoral research fellow position in the Lizano Lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Sendil's primary research interest includes understanding the underlying neurobiological mechanisms of psychosis. He is currently working on a transcranial electrical stimulation study aimed at improving hallucination symptoms. Dr. Sendil plans to use translational techniques and contribute to novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to psychosis, while practicing as a psychiatrist with a focus on early-course psychosis.
