Yoshinobu Maeda DDS, PhD
Professor Emeritus and Invited Professor, Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry, Osaka, JapanYoshinobu Maeda graduated from Osaka University Dental School at 1977 and received the Ph.D. degree at 1981 along with the prosthodontic specialist training.
He was visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia from 1988-1989.
He has been the member of ICP as well as Japanese Prosthodontic Society (JPS), served as Co-President for ICP from 2012-2013, and hosted Torino meeting.
He was the chair and Professor for the Department of Prosthodontics and Oral Rehabilitation at Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry until the end of March 2017. He was also the director of Dental Hospital 2014-2016.
He has been involved with clinical and basic biomechanical research related to sports dentistry, implant overdentures as well as CAD/CAM complete denture fabrication which was the first publication of that kind in 1993.
He is currently an invited and emeritus Professor for Prosthodontics, Gerontology and Oral Rehabilitation Sports at Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry as well holding a practice at the center of Osaka city.
