Yashashwi Pokharel, MD, MSCR is a lipid and lipoprotein fellow in the Section of Cardiovascular Research, Baylor College of Medicine and Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center, Houston, Texas. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Zhengzhou University, China; postgraduate training at the University of North Carolina affiliated Cone Health; and Masters of Science in Clinical Research at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr. Pokharel’s research interests include epidemiology of lipids and atherosclerosis.  His clinical interests include preventive cardiology, lipids and atherosclerosis.
