Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Liver Diseases, E-Da Hospital, I-Shou University, Kaohsiung, TaiwanYao-Chun Hsu is currently an associate professor at the school of medicine, I-Shou University, and the Director of the Center for Liver Diseases, E-Da Hospital, both of which were located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He is an active researcher in clinical and translational research for liver diseases, with a focus on chronic viral hepatitis, particularly viral hepatitis B. He has contributed more than 100 peer-reviewed academic publications including first authorship of original research articles published in leading journals such as Lance Infectious Diseases, Lancet Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Gut, Journal of Hepatology, Hepatology, etc.
