Wanja Kageche, KRN/KRCCN, is a critical care nurse with a higher diploma in critical care from Kenya medical training and Nursing diploma from Normandale Community college, Bloomington Minnesota. Her professional experience includes clinical work in both private and public hospitals, in medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, and critical care. She is a continuing medical education coordinator.

She currently works as the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital Research Site Coordinator for BREATHE (Building Respiratory support in East Africa Through High flow versus standard Evaluation), a randomized controlled trial that aims to compare two forms of oxygen delivery. She is also a part-time Nursing Lecturer at Kenya Medical Training College Nakuru, where she specializes in respiratory and cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and medical conditions.
