Dr. Wafa Ali Aldhaleei is currently a gastroenterology fellow at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. She received MBBCH degree from Dubai Medical College in 2011 and MSc in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, 2017. In 2013, she participated in Global Clinical Scholars Research Training from Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK (MRCPUK) and Ireland (MRCPI). Dr. Aldhaleei also received Canadian Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology and European Certificate of Excellence in Clinical Lipidology.

Dr. Aldhaleei published several peer-reviewed research publications related to gastroenterology, hepatology and COVID-19 in high impact journals. Recently, she presented a case of Wilson’s Disease in late adulthood in the United European Gastroenterology week 2020. Her research interests lie in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, advanced endoscopic techniques and colorectal cancer.
