Vineet Mishra MD
Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Director of Mohs and Procedural Dermatology, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, San Antonio, TXDr. Vineet Mishra is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Director of Mohs and Procedural Dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University College of Arts and Science. He completed his medical education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, internship at Emory University, and dermatology residency at the University of Alabama – Birmingham. He pursued a procedural dermatology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California. His interest and expertise includes Mohs surgery, laser medicine, cosmetic dermatology, and phlebology. He is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American College of Phlebology, and American Academy of Dermatology. He also co-chairs the annual Chief Academy. He is a board member for the Texas Dermatological Society, Dermatology Education Foundation, and American College of Phlebology Foundation. He has published numerous articles in dermatology and co-authored several book chapters. Dr. Mishra lectures nationally on cutaneous oncology, laser medicine, phlebology, and cosmetic dermatology. He also is involved in clinical studies. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, tennis, and traveling.
