Electrophysiology Research Fellow, Neurocardiology Research Center and Cardiac Arrhythmia Center, University of California, Los Angeles, CADr Una Buckley began her studies at the Royal College of Surgeons, in Dublin, Ireland. She then completed her basic specialist training in Internal Medicine and subsequently her Cardiology Fellowship at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, National Heart Transplant Center, under the supervision of the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland. During her training, she developed an interest in Medical Education and lectured for the Royal College of Surgeons Medical School. She went to graduate school to study Management and Leadership for Medical Doctors via the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Institute of Public Administration. She chose to subspecialize in Cardiac Electrophysiology and now is pursuing a research fellowship at UCLA Neurocardiology Research Center to help expand her interests in cardiac electrophysiology and the autonomic nervous system.
