Ty J. Gluckman, MD, FACC, FAHA, FASPC is Medical Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research, and Data Science (CARDS) at the Providence Heart Institute in Portland, Oregon, and an adjunct faculty member of the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

His principal clinical interests include identifying, coordinating, and implementing cardiovascular care improvement strategies. He has authored or co-authored over 100 scientific articles, reviews, and book chapters. His work has been published in several high-impact journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, Circulation Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, Journal of the American Medical Association, JAMA Cardiology, Journal of the American Heart Association, and New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst.

He previously served as Associate Editor for Guidelines and Clinical Documents for ACC.org, the primary web site for the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and chair of the ACC’s Solution Set Oversight Committee, overseeing policy and clinical documents issued by the ACC. He is immediate past Governor for the Oregon Chapter of the ACC. He previously served as national chair of the ACC Patient Navigator Program-Focus MI and the ACC’s Quality Summit. He was also lead developer for the ACC Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) Risk Estimator app, selected as the best medical app in 2014.
