Lawrence Lumeng Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana

Dr. Imperiale is Professor of Medicine at the IU School of Medicine, a core investigator in the Center of Innovation, Health Services Research and Development at the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center, and a research scientist at the Regenstrief Institute, Indianapolis, IN.  As a gastroenterologist and clinical epidemiologist, his research interests broadly are geared toward technology assessment for digestive diseases and liver disease.  Dr. Imperiale has a particular interest in assessing technologies for colorectal cancer screening and surveillance, including identifying ways to tailor screening based on risk for advanced neoplasia.
