Teresa Deinlein MD

Teresa Deinlein was born 1990 in Germany and studied medicine from 2009-2015 at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. Since 2014 she is research assistant / deputy in the working group of Prof. Hofmann-Wellenhof and since 2016 additionally resident at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the University Hospital Graz; she passed her specialist examination in September 2020.

Her main fields of interest are dermoscopy, skin cancer screening, preventive dermatology, and telemedicine. She has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in this field of dermatology and gave numerous lectures on national and international congresses. She is Executive Board member / Treasurer of the International Dermoscopy Society and member of the Editorial board of the journal "Dermatology Practical and Conceptual". Moreover, she acts as reviewer for several high-ranked international dermatological journals.
