Neurovascular Fellow (PGY-5), Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut

Dr. Teng Peng graduated from Boston University in 2013 with Latin honors and bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Human Physiology. He received his MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 2017, where he was awarded the CONACYT education scholarship, the APS-SPR summer research scholarship and travel award, and the American Academy of Neurology Medical Student Excellence Award. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 2019 where he received the Intern of the Year Award. Dr. Peng recently completed his residency in Neurology in 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital and is currently pursuing a fellowship in vascular neurology. His interests include the mechanisms of angiophagy, cerebral autoregulation, and the effects of glucose in ischemic stroke and acute intracerebral hemorrhage.
