Tejesh S. Patel MD, FAAD
Professor and Chair of Dermatology, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TennesseeTejesh Patel, MD, is the Amonette-Rosenberg Endowed Professor and Chair of Dermatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC).
A native of London, England, Dr. Patel completed an internal medicine internship and a dermatology residency with the UTHSC College of Medicine, as well as a dermatopathology fellowship with the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Patel is author and co-author to more than 50 medical publications, book chapters, and presentations. Much of his past research has centered on pruritus. He has also served as president for the Tennessee Dermatology Society and currently serves as a member of several AAD committees.
