She undertook a two year fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases and Refractive Surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Trinh has published in national and international journals as well as book chapters on advanced corneal transplantation techniques and ocular surface disease. She has earned many honors and awards. Dr. Trinh is also active in many organizations, including being the Secretary for the Global Education and Research Society of Ophthalmology and sitting on the Executive for Women In Ophthalmology for Australia and New Zealand. Dr. Trinh has a public appointment at the Sydney Eye Hospital and has been appointed the keratoprosthesis surgeon for Australia’s Boston Keratoprosthesis and OOKP Clinic.
