Tanya Ivey-Bloom MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Tanya currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society for academic excellence. She is also a passionate member of the legislative and political action committees for the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland. Tanya deployed with the 48th Combat Support Hospital to Kuwait and the United States Army Reserves during Operation Enduring Freedom. She was selected to lead and is the current Commander of the 336th Medical Detachment in Fort Meade Maryland. Tanya has earned several medals for which she is proud including the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. She currently enjoys the comradery amongst the phenomenal physicians, nurse practitioner’s and other providers she practices with.
