Dr. Suraj Kapa is currently an assistant professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His background is heavily based in invasive electrophysiologic mapping and ablation. He also have extensive experience in mathematical modeling, especially nonlinear dynamic modeling, and quantum mechanics which he has used to be involved in computer simulation modeling of cardiac activation. Currently, he spends much of his time in the large animal lab performing Langendorff preparations for a variety of experiments ranging from novel use of carbon beam therapy for cardiac ablation to development of new catheter technology.
