Sudhir S. Kushwaha, MD, is Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Consultant, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is also Director of the Cardiac Transplantation and VAD Program at Mayo Clinic.  Dr. Kushwaha earned his undergraduate Medical degree from the London Hospital Medical College, University of London, and his postgraduate M.D. from University of London.  He completed his residency and fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical interests include the treatment of end-stage heart failure, including the use of left ventricular assist devices, cardiac transplantation and pulmonary hypertension. His research interests are focused on physiology and disease of the transplanted heart.
