Stephen Y. Wang MD, MPH

Stephen Y. Wang is a third-year internal medicine resident at the Yale School of Medicine. He received his MD from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and his MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is an aspiring academic cardiologist whose research interests lie at the intersection of social determinants of health and cardiovascular diseases. His recent work has focused on the prevalence and adverse outcomes of reductions in socioeconomic status and high financial burden from healthcare costs. His research has been published in JAMA Cardiology and JAMA Health Forum, among other journals, and featured on news outlets such as The New York Times and CBS News.
