Stephan Siebel is a pediatric endocrinologist and diabetologist with a longstanding clinical interest in metabolic dysregulation in endocrinopathies in general and diabetes mellitus in particular. His research focuses on applying stable isotope-based tracer methods to study intra- and extramitochondrial metabolism in health and disease.
