
Stavonnie Patterson MD
Dermatologist, Chicago, IllinoisDr. Patterson received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Stanford University and graduated magna cum laude from Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Patterson completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Following this training she worked as a hospitalist at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Hospital. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at Duke University Hospital where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Patterson worked as associate professor of dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine for several years. She currently works as a general dermatologist in the Chicagoland area. Her clinical and research interests include the care of ethnic skin and hair and medical dermatology. She has multiple publications investigating issues related to skin of color. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Skin of Color Society and Women’s Dermatologic Society.
