Associate Professor, Departments of Urology and Pediatrics, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee

Dr. Tanaka is Associate Professor in Urology and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She serves on the editorial board for the AUA Update Series and as Associate Section Editor for the pediatric section of the Journal of Urology. Her research interests include neuropathic and non-neuropathic bladder dysfunction. She is the PI for two CDC spina bifida grants: 1) the National Spina Bifida Patient Registry and 2) the Spina Bifida Urologic Protocol for Newborns and Young Children and the Medical Director for the multidisciplinary spina bifida clinic at MCJCHV.
