Dr. Sigrid Carlsson, MD, PhD, MPH, is a cancer researcher and epidemiologist in the Departments of Surgery (Urology Service) and Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA, with 15 years of prostate cancer research experience and over 100 scientific publications. She is an investigator of the world’s largest randomized study of screening for prostate cancer, the European Randomized Study of Screening for Prostate Cancer. Her work on PSA screening has helped inform national screening guidelines around the world.
