Serge Harb, MD, is a staff cardiologist in the department of cardiovascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic main campus. He is a specialist in multimodality cardiovascular imaging and has obtained the highest level of training in all cardiac imaging modalities, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI.  Dr. Harb earned his medical degree from Saint Joseph University School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon, graduating with honors as class valedictorian and receiving multiple merit scholarships. He served his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic during which he won the residency research activity award. He continued his cardiology fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic and was the recipient of the Wilson Foundation scholarship. He then completed his subspecialty training at Cleveland Clinic in advanced cardiac imaging and was appointed chief fellow in his last year of training.

Dr. Harb has authored more than 70 manuscripts published in peer-reviewed cardiology journals. His research mostly focuses on structural imaging and advanced imaging techniques, including 3D printing. Dr. Harb has been invited to present his research at national and international cardiology meetings and scientific sessions. He won multiple awards including mentorship of the 2020 ACC Young Author Achievement Award, the 2019 Sones Favaloro Award for Innovation, the 2018 best moderated presentation from the European Society of Cardiology, the 2016 top investigator award from the American Society of Echocardiography, and the 2016 first place award from the American College of Cardiology (Ohio Chapter competition).
