Serge Ginzburg MD
Assistant Professor, Department of Urology, Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA; Assistant Professor, Division of Urologic Oncology, Department of Surgical Oncology, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PADr. Serge Ginzburg is a urologist and a urologic oncologist. He is a member of the Urologic Institute of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Urology department of the Einstein Healthcare Network as well as an assistant professor and an associate staff member at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Ginzburg’s interests focus on genitourinary cancer care, advanced endourology, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He is actively involved in resident education, basic science and clinical research and coordinates a comprehensive multidisciplinary genitourinary tumor board for the Einstein Healthcare Network. He has authored and co-authored many original research articles, book chapters, reviews and instructional videos and delivered numerous presentations at professional society meetings regionally, nationally and internationally.
Dr. Ginzburg graduated from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in New York, where he received his Medical Doctorate (MD). He then completed an internship in general surgery and a urology residency at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Ginzburg went on to complete a two-year Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO)-accredited fellowship in urologic oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
