Saman Nazarian MD, PhD
Associate Professor of Medicine, Cardiac Electrophysiology, The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaSaman Nazarian, MD, PhD, received a Doctorate in Medicine from Stanford University and a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. After a decade on the faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, he joined the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Nazarian runs an active clinical research program, funded by the US National Institutes of Health, with the goal of improving treatment strategies to reduce cardiac arrhythmia related morbidity and mortality.
