Sachin Wani, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Wani is a clinician and researcher with experience in therapeutic endoscopy. His particular areas of expertise and research include endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and EUS-guided tissue acquisition techniques in evaluation of gastrointestinal and other malignancies. His areas of research include epidemiology, diagnosis (including advanced imaging techniques) and treatment of patients with Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer. His research also focusses on competency assessment in advanced endoscopy training.
