S. G. Manu completed his basic medical qualification (MBBS) from the Government Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala in 2014. Thereafter, he pursued post-graduation in medicine (MD Internal Medicine) from the same college, followed by specialization (DM Neurology) from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore. After completion of specialization, Dr. Manu worked as an independent consultant in Neurology in the private sector in Kerala for 1 year. Currently, Dr. Manu is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Movement Disorders under the supervision of Prof. Asha Kishore in Aster Medcity, Kerala.

Dr. Manu has a keen interest in the sub-specialty of Movement Disorders, especially in advanced treatment options of Parkinson’s disease like DBS, genetics of Parkinson’s disease and evaluation of patients with complex movement disorders.
