Dermatology Resident (PGY-3), Rural Track, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MississippiRoss was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He attended Birmingham-Southern College, where he graduated summa cum laude with Honors in Biology. He remained in Birmingham for medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated cum laude. He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Colorado in Denver. He is currently a dermatology resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center on the Rural Dermatology Track under the direction of Dr. Adam Byrd and Dr. Robert T. Brodell. He provides care to Mississippians in rural areas three months of the year based out of Louisville, MS. He plans on practicing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast after residency. His academic interests include rural medicine, teledermatology, and surgical dermatology. Outside of medicine, he enjoys backpacking, fishing, paddling, and skiing.
