Robert Wong, MD, MS, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine (Affiliated) in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System and Stanford University School of Medicine.  His clinical interests include management of complex liver diseases.  His clinical research interests include a focus on epidemiology, outcomes, and health services research in chronic liver disease, particularly viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.  His work has also focused on understanding the mechanisms of disparities in healthcare access and healthcare outcomes, particularly among vulnerable and underserved ethnic minority populations with chronic liver diseases.
