Richard Matulewicz, MD, MSCI, MS is an assistant member in the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and holds an Assistant Professor academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed medical school at Tufts University which was followed by urology residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After that, he completed a clinical fellowship in urologic oncology at MSKCC and a research fellowship at NYU in population health and clinical investigation. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a grant funded health services researcher who has focus his work on risk adapted evaluations for microscopic hematuria, implementing strategies to promote evidence-based smoking cessation care for urologic oncology patients, and promoting survivorship for men with testicular cancer. He has published over 80 original research papers and recently received the 2021 AUA Research Scholar Award.
