Breast Surgical Oncologist, The West Cancer Center and Research Institute, Germantown, TNRichard Gilmore is a breast surgical oncologist at The West Cancer Center and Research Institute in Germantown, Tennessee where he completed his Fellowship. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Virginia and his doctorate at Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency as a Halsted Surgical Resident at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is interested in value-based care and limiting overuse in surgical practice, operational efficiency, and healthcare finance. When not in the operating room, he enjoys lifting weights, playing tennis, and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens.
