Rebat M Halder MD

Dr. Halderis professor and chairman of the department of dermatology at Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C.  He is also director of the Ethnic Skin Research Institute within the department as well as director of the Vitiligo Center.  He is director of the dermatology residency program at Howard University Hospital.  Dr. Halder is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of ethnic skin diseases and pigmentary skin disorders.  He has been active in both laboratory and clinical research studies in these areas. 

Dr. Halder received his medical education at Howard University and completed his residency in dermatology at Howard University Hospital.  He is the author of numerous publications including book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, and editorships.  He has been an invited lecturer throughout the United States as well as internationally.  Dr. Halder is a member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and the American Dermatological Association.
