
Ravy K. Vajravelu MD, MSCE

Vajravelu, MD, MSCE, is a general gastroenterologist at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently Instructor of Medicine for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Faculty Fellow of the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is a physician-scientist who aims to develop personalized medicine tools that inform diagnostic and therapeutic decision making for gastroenterology patients and providers. To accomplish this goal, his research program includes analyses of large administrative health databases and development of novel biostatistical techniques. This research is supported by grants from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases and the American College of Gastroenterology.
