Dr. Pia Chowdry is a fellow in the Tulane University Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program in New Orleans. After receiving her medical degree at George Washington University in Washington DC, she completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta.

During her residency, Dr. Chowdry presented her research on lung cancer and thyroid cancer at multiple national conferences, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting in June 2012.

Currently, Dr. Chowdry is interested in a career in academic medicine.
