Rachna Kataria MD
Fellow, Division of Cardiology, Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New YorkDr. Rachna Kataria is currently a cardiology fellow-in-training at the Montefiore-Einstein Heart and Vascular Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, USA. She received her medical degree from the King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India, then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Yale University, Connecticut, USA. In July 2021, Dr. Kataria will begin a year of advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kataria's interests include integration of heart failure and structural heart disease with a focus on patient selection and sex disparities, right heart failure and quality improvement in the management of acute and chronic heart failure. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association Fellow-In-Training councils. Dr. Kataria also serves as the social media ambassador for the Department of Cardiology, Montefiore-Einstein Heart and Vascular Center twitter page “@MonteHeart”.
