Rachel Quaney MD, MAEd
Sleep Medicine Fellow; Pulmonologist and Critical Care Physician, University of Colorado School of Medicine, Aurora, ColoradoDr. Rachel Quaney earned her undergraduate degree at Rockhurst University with a major in biochemistry and a minor in physics of medicine. She attended medical school at University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she was a JayDoc Free Health Clinic executive committee director and a Gold Humanism Honor Society inductee.She went on to complete internship and residency at University of South Carolina-Greenville and served as the House Staff Senate president. She went to The Ohio State University for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship, where she served as chief fellow and obtained a Master of Arts in Medical Education. She is currently a fellow in Sleep Medicine at University of Colorado, where she will be staying on as faculty after graduation. Her clinical interests include both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and the intersection of critical care and sleep medicine. Her research interests lie within medical education and currently center on feedback and assessments.
