Peter Hountras MD
Assistant Professor, Medicine-Pulmonary Sciences & Critical Care, University of Colorado, Aurora, ColoradoDr. Peter Hountras began his studies at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. After completing his undergraduate training he was accepted into medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He then returned to Chicago for his post graduate medical training completing an Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the university of Colorado where he focuses on pulmonary vascular disease and is the director of the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team as well as the director for the University of Colorado’s Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia Center of Excellence.
