Owhofasa O. Agbedia MD, MPH

Hematology and Oncology Fellow, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas

Dr. Owhofasa Agbedia is a fellow in hematology and oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. 

He received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and completed his internship at University College Hospital in Ibadan. After coming to the United States, Dr. Agbedia was awarded his MPH from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, and subsequently undertook a research fellowship in ocular immunology and uveitis at the Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. In 2018, he completed residency training in internal medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. 

Dr. Agbedia is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), among other professional organizations.
