Olivia Oldridge PhD
Third-Year Medical Student, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaOlivia Oldridge, PhD, received her bachelor’s degree in physics from Wesleyan University, followed by a PhD in physics from the University of Pennsylvania. Her PhD research drew on her quantitative expertise and involved the creation of mathematical models of biological systems. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric cancer genomics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before matriculating into the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently a third-year medical student and plans to apply into Internal Medicine. Her interests include medical education and leadership, and she is enrolled in the Medical Education Certificate Program and additionally serves as the President of the Student Curriculum Council at the Perelman School of Medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys rock climbing, teaching yoga, and spending time with her husband and cats.
