Nkanyezi Ferguson MD
Clinical Director, Dermatology, and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology, University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, IowaDr. Ferguson completed her Dermatology residency and Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at the University of Iowa. Her interests include both general dermatology and Mohs surgery. Her clinical focus is in ethnic skin care with an emphasis in providing individualized and culturally sensitive care for persons of color. Her surgical focus is in cutaneous oncology, surgical reconstruction and unique surgical consideration in Skin of Color. She serves as the Graduate Medical Education Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Chair of the AAD Diversity Committee. She enjoys medical education and is involved in local and international medical community outreach.
