Nisha Cooch PhD

Dr. Nisha Cooch specializes in mobilizing brain science to improve medical communications. She has conducted research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), served as an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellow in the Executive Branch, and worked on the agency side of Public Relations. She is now a full-time independent consultant and works across the public and private sectors. Dr. Cooch earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a B.S. from Washington & Lee University. She is published in popular media outlets as well as peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Neuroscience.
