Associate Professor of Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology and Co-Director, FPMRS Fellowship, NYU Langone Medical Center, New York, New YorkDr. Nirit Rosenblum is co-director of the NYU Langone FPMRS fellowship. She cares for female patients with pelvic floor disorders and urinary incontinence, as well as both male and female patients with neurological disorders necessitating long-term urologic care at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital Center. She also serves as voluntary faculty at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Rosenblum developed NYU Langone’s minimally invasive approach to pelvic organ repair utilizing the da Vinci® robot system. She trains fellows and residents in robotic techniques for pelvic organ prolapse repair. She is also interested in incontinence treatments, female sexual dysfunction, and lower urinary tract symptoms, as well as recurrent urinary tract infections in women at all ages. She is also interested in hormonal effects on the lower urinary tract in both pre and post-menopausal women. She practices in a multi-disciplinary fashion, coordinating women’s care with physical therapy, gynecology, primary care, gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, plastic surgery and dermatology.
