Nikki Duong, MD, is a first-year Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellow at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is an AASLD Emerging Liver Scholar and Ambassador and now serves on the Communications Subcommittee of the Liver Transplantation and Surgery Committee. He is passionate about medical education and has been selected for several teaching and scholarship awards during his residency training.
