Nikki Duong, MD, is a third-year dual-pathway Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellow at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is an AASLD Emerging Liver Scholar and Ambassador. He is also an active member of the ACG Training Committee. He is passionate about medical education and has been selected for several teaching and scholarship awards during his residency training. His clinical interests include alcohol associated liver disease, health disparities and quality improvement.
