Dr. Myeong-Ki Hong is Professor of Medicine in the Cardiology Division at Severance Cardiovascular Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine, in Seoul, Korea. He specializes in coronary intervention, invasive intracoronary imaging, and transcatheter aortic valve transplantation (TAVI).  

He has served as the principal investigator of major clinical trials such as RESET, IVUS XPL, DETECT OCT, One-Month DAPT, RACING, and LODESTAR. His SCI publications number over 500. 

Dr. Hong is a member of the National Academy of Medicine of Korea. He is the recipient of various awards, including Professor of the Year, a recognition from the Asan Medical Center at the University of Ulsan College of Medicine, Professor of the Year from Yonsei University College of Medicine, and the Scientific Achievement Award made by the Korean Society of Cardiology, among others.
